Founded in 1980, Kangnai Group is the leading enterprise in China's shoes industry, the representative manufacturer of high-end leather shoes, the first shoes enterprise which has opened overseas franchised stores, as well as one of China's first-batch shoes makers which has built overseas cooperation zones, Kangnai has set foot in three business fields, namely commercial real estate, overseas cooperation zones and apparel industry, besides its major business of leather shoes/leather products. The group is headquartered at China Shoes City Industrial Park, Wenzhou, with a land area of 140 mu(approximately 9.33 ha.), more than 4,000 employees, and an annual output of more than 10 million pairs of middle and high-end shoes.
Kangnai Group is currently a vice chairman unit of China National Industry Council, a vice board director of China Leather Association, and an executive director unit of China Quality Association. It has won more than 400 awards, including "China Famous Brand", "China Famous Product", "China's Top Ten Leading Genuine Leather Shoes King", "National Quality Award", "Zhejinag Provincial Government Quality Award. In 1996, Kangnai built the first chain monopoly system. At present, it has opened more than 2,800 monopoly stores in China and more than 230 stores overseas.
